I just found out from Erika's pictures and blogs that, the bright shining thing beside the moon lastnight aint a star at all. Its actually Jupiter. According to Erika, my fellow photographer, its called the Moon-Jupiter Conjunction. I dunno if I can still take a picture of it later as i get home. I do hope so...
love under moon and jupiter This photo, was taken by Erika with her special someone. =) Besides photography, Erika loves astronomy so much. I never met someone who loves exploring the moon, stars and the planets. She influenced me to take shots of the last Solar Eclipse. I myself admire looking at stars and constellations. Wondering how vast and wide space is. Appreciating its beauty... that somehow taken for granted by a lot of people. Yuck., ang cheesy.
My officemate Chicco, is learning how to speak and write in Japanese really well. I asked him to write my name in Japanese. I copied his Japanese Caligraphy and here it is. He told me, that he doesnt know how to write the word "mac" itself but he can write "ma-ku" and "ma-ki" instead. Either way., its alright. I kinda find it intresting how my name looks like in different languages.

My friend AJ, posted pictures from their last Biking adventure. When i was checkin the images, there was this photo, captioned as "Smokey Mountain 2". For the people who doesnt know, Smokey Mountain is a huge place where trash is piled up. Now, authorities are planning to turn this awesome place into huge stinking one. Killing all the plants along with the animals and probably killing the people slowly who lives here as well. Its just sad for such lovely place to be trashed and desecrated. I took this picture when i was once assigned as a photographer at San Mateo Rizal for a site visit. I was saddened when I found out what are they planning to do in this place...
egg-shaped headLast Sunday was the last game of QCAA's Basketball Girls, semi-finals. It is final that Diliman Preparatory School, my alma-mater will face Angelicum to the Finals to be held at November 8 at the Trinity Gym (please check
http://qcaa.multiply.com for more information regarding the finals).
After all those games shooting with my very heavy camera, It just came to me that I have a monopod lying beside my bed. I brought it along with me and man.. it made my life easier. Why on earth didnt I thought of that before? Me and my messed up egg-shaped head. What a great relief for my ring finger. It usually cramps up after the shoot. I guess all the weight is concentrated on my ring finger. Stressing it up real bad.
I bought my monopod at CDR-King for only 500 pesos. (I think). This is really helpful when covering games on a long period of time. Its light and very handy. It also decreases camera shake. Making your shots a lot clearer and sharper. There are more expensive brands out there but this one works fine with me.
Ok now., its Wednesday and its surfing blogs once again (like everyday else). Sometimes its really boring surfing blogs but its fun when you see interesting stuff and amazing stories. Today., here are some of the juicy ones.
